Joy Small Bookmark

This is a really nice product, more than it appears online. It's actually ~1mm thick metal with the design printed on one side.

Beautiful print quality, nice solid design.

It's a bit heavy compared to a typical bookmark. We've just gotten them but I can see them working their way out of a book if it is moved around without being held solidly. Not so much of an issue for us, but I could see it being a problem for someone who carries a book in a purse, etc. On the flip side, the bookmark is extremely durable, so carrying it in a purse won't hurt the portion of the bookmark sticking out of the book.

I ordered this bookmark for another reason that marking a page in a book. I designed it to be placed on a birdhouse that I created using wine corks. The quality is amazing and I'm certain that it will hold up in the outdoor elements forever.

The design is covered in a crystal clear thick layer of some product, over a metal base. It will be very easy to attach to the front of the birdhouse.

Would love to be able to purchase a product like this without the hole.

I have made other bookmarks on this site in the past! I made myself several large sized ones, but this one is a smaller one I made for my friend who happens to be a huge Madonna fan! It came out lovely! It is in the picture with some mirrors and a sleep mask that I also created (Madonna for her, Motley Crue for me)! =) Everything came out great! She loves to read, so she is gonna LOVE this!

The size is just right! It is hard and super sturdy...not at all flimsy and cheap! But the price was the most awesome of all....10 items for $20 w/ free shipping! Can't beat it!

the metal looks and feels great, the images were printed very clearly, and are protected with a resin coating over the print

I'd like to see more color options for the ribbon, but I can always switch out the ribbon with some I have at home if I really want to

Although I have been using www.sadaku.com for several years, I had never tried bookmarks until now, while they were on special. I ordered 10 bookmarks in 8 different designs, using photographic images. The quality and colour of the print is beyond my expectations. The glazing is flawless, and my reservations regarding whether the metal back would be sharp were completely unfounded. The bookmark is perfectly smooth front and back. I could not be more pleased with this product, and will be ordering more in the near future.

No cons as far as I am concerned. Buyers should be aware though that each bookmark comes with a red ribbon only, but putting your own co-ordinating ribbon adds the ideal finishing touch.
